New York Agencies Join the
Safe Shelter Collaborative
The Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is excited to announce that domestic violence agencies across the state of New York (outside of NYC) are now members of the Safe Shelter Collaborative. Agencies that support runaway and homeless youth (RHY) are participating in a pilot project to discover how the Safe Shelter Collaborative might support finding shelter for youth in need.
Victim Resource Center in Finger Lakes reported receiving eight responses in four minutes for a possible shelter placement!
