The Safe Shelter Collaborative is currently free for qualified agencies.
If you are a 501(c)(3) public charity, a tribal organization, or a government agency that provides support to survivors of human trafficking or domestic or sexual violence, you may be eligible to join the Safe Shelter Collaborative. All participating agencies complete a vetting process to verify that they provide sheltering services. If you aren't quite ready to apply and have questions for us, please get in touch.
The vetting process begins once your agency applies to the program.
For over 30 years, our parent organization, TechSoup, has built a reputation on determining eligibility of global nonprofits in service of corporate partners and national and international funders. The Safe Shelter Collaborative team employs those vetting standards to ensure that agencies applying to the Safe Shelter Collaborative share the same criteria of care.
The vetting process includes conversations with Safe Shelter Collaborative staff as well as supporting documentation that might include information about your programs, funder history, and staff training. Our team is committed to making sure this is a straightforward and easy process for staff at your agency. Please get in touch with us to discuss any questions or ideas you might have.
