If you're looking to ignite your current donor base or increase the number of supporters who select your agency on the SafeNight app, #GivingTuesday is a great opportunity to grab the attention of supporters to download and use the SafeNight app to pay for hotel stays.
#GivingTuesday is a worldwide giving event that happens the Tuesday after Thanksgiving each year. During a time when the holiday shopping season is in full swing, #GivingTuesday is the kickoff to the charitable season, a reminder that in addition to gift-giving of the tangible sort, we can also give back to organizations doing good in our world.
Here are some sample messages to get you started. We encourage you to fine tune them to reflect your agency's needs and the needs of your donor community.

When you receive a donation directly to your organization (not through SafeNight), include information about SafeNight in your thank you note. Encourage supporters to download and donate when future needs arise to fund emergency shelter.
